Have a Go Sessions

Interested in trying archery but not ready to commit to a course? Why not try one of our Have a Go sessions?

Sessions are available for individuals, small groups, birthday parties, corporate events or staff nights out. All equipment is provided and sessions are led by a qualified ArcheryGB coach. Open days and have-a-go sessions are constantly being run by Audco Archers in Newport — contact us with a few dates and times that suit you.

Please note: Sessions run from May to September. We need at least 4 weeks’ notice to arrange a session, and more notice for Saturday or Sunday sessions. Minimum age is 8 years old.
What Happens at a Have a Go?
  • You will be met by a qualified coach who will be on hand throughout to ensure your shooting is safe and enjoyable.
  • After an initial safety briefing, you will learn a basic shooting technique.
  • All necessary equipment is provided for each participant.
  • Coaches will be on hand throughout to help you enjoy the experience.
  • You are welcome to use the barn if the weather lets you down. Details on request.
