The WA720, also known as the Olympic Round, sees archers shoot 72 arrows at a single distance on a 122cm target — 70m for recurve, 50m for compound. A Double WA720 means shooting the full round twice, making it a full day of competition with a maximum score of 1440.

The American Round is a classic ArcheryGB imperial round shot at 60, 50 and 40 yards on a 122cm target face using 5-zone scoring, with 30 arrows at each distance. A Double American shoots the round twice for a total of 180 arrows — one of the longer competitions in the calendar and a great test of consistency.

Our annual Heritage Shoot includes the Shropshire County Handicap Championships, making it one of the most important dates in the county calendar. Archers shoot the National round appropriate to their age category, with six sighters followed by four dozen arrows at the longer distance and two dozen at the shorter, using five-zone scoring. Gold, Silver and Bronze are awarded across all categories.
